Snowy Storehouse sweet-ripened May Queen (over two winters)

Product features
The super-long maturation period of two years from harvesting in September. When May Queen which are ripen well to the extent that the starch is accumulated, is cooled down to nearly 0℃ in the snow storage facility, which utilizes snow as a natural resource, the accumulated starch is converted to sugar to protect it from freezing.
After two long winters, they become maximally sweet and moist, as if sweet potatoes. Please enjoy the new seasonal taste of potatoes that you have never tasted before.

※The interior of the potato will turn black if left at room temperature. Please store in the refrigerator as soon as possible after arrival. Potatoes are prone to sprouting. If sprouting occurs, please remove the sprouts before serving.

Une maturation très longue débutant au moment de la récolte de septembre et terminant deux hivers plus tard. La May Queen est récoltée à pleine maturité jusqu'à ce qu'elle stocke suffisamment d'amidon. Lorsqu'elle est refroidie à près de 0°C dans des entrepôts qui utilisent la ressource naturelle qu'est la neige, l'amidon stocké est transformé en sucre pour la protéger du gel.
